The Department of 'Indian System of Medicine & Homoeopathy' was changed by Government of India on 11th November, 2003 and it is renamed as 'AYUSH'. Now Government Departments call us AYUSH DOCTORS and this system of medicine is called AYUSH SYSTEM.

Now The govt.of India established a separate Ministry Known as,"Ministry Of AYUSH" Formed on 9th November, 2014. With a view to providing focused attention to development of Education and Research in Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy systems.
